Osman Lab is proud to present our first defender - Dr. Allisa Hastie!

The room was filled with friends, family, and colleagues as Allisa presented the culmination of almost 4 years of research examining aesthetic tap water contaminants and their effects in East Palo Alto and Detroit. Special thank you to committee members Sarah Fletcher, Will Tarpeh, Gabrielle Wong-Parodi, and Elliot White Jr.!

Allisa has been instrumental in shaping this lab, and truly exemplifies the very best our community of scholars has. We have no doubt that she will make magic wherever her passion for environmental justice takes her next.
