We are pleased to announce that the Osman Lab has received a grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation for the project “Who decides? Procedural justice architecture in the governance of energy-intensive data center infrastructure.”
The award comes through the Sloan Foundation’s Open Call on Early-Career Faculty Support for Interdisciplinary Energy Systems Research, which funded 11 projects across 13 early-career scholars. The project will examine how decisions about energy-intensive data centers are made, and who gets a voice in them.
We look forward to sharing updates as the work progresses!
