From Policy to Practice at HPRS Summer Institute 2025

PhD candidate Sam Shrivatsa recently participated in the 2025 Health Policy Research Scholars Summer Institute held in Baltimore from June 23 to June 28. The theme was "Illuminating Pathways: Radiating Positive Change Through Policy and Our Community." Rooted in the symbolism of gathering around a fire for warmth, reflection, and resilience, the institute created space for scholars to navigate today’s uncertain political terrain through collective wisdom and storytelling. Through sessions on academic pathways, leadership, and narrative practice, the institute reaffirmed the power of community and interdisciplinary action in advancing health equity.
