Bringing It Full Circle: Water Solutions with Nuestra Casa

In culmination of an almost 4 year project, Nuestra Casa along with Osman Lab members Allisa and Sinna hosted a community-wide water workshop highlighting ongoing advocacy, providing resources for residents and sharing research results. Community members heard presentations from Nuestra Casa, the City of East Palo Alto and Community Legal Services EPA. Allisa shared water quality highlights and lead small group game where residents were given a budget of “tokens” to spend on water improvement while role playing as community members, CBOs, or city engineers. Residents went home with LifeStraw water filters, and hopefully many of their questions answered.
